EASY BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE

I’m here to share with you my favorite recipe for butter chicken. I make this dish all the time, and it is so delicious! It only takes about 5 minutes of prep time, then another 25 minutes on the stove. The spice combination is perfect – not too spicy but still has a nice kick to it. This recipe is one such dish that is as simple as it gets, and yet tastes just like butter chicken from Moti Mahal! And did I mention that there are 9 whole servings? This recipe will feed your family or friends no problemo! Serve this with some steamed rice or naan bread to complete the meal. I hope you enjoy this easy recipe as much as we do!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
  • 1 piece Onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup Bell Peppers, diced
  • 3 pieces Chicken Breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
  • 3 jars of Light Butter Chicken Sauce (400ml Patak’s or 395ml Sharwood’s brand)

Directions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, saute onion and bell peppers
  2. Add in the diced chicken and stir occasionally for about 10 minutes
  3. Season with fish sauce
  4. Add the butter chicken sauce
  5. Simmer for 15 minutes
