I’m here to share with you my favorite recipe for butter chicken. I make this dish all the time, and it is so delicious! It only takes about 5 minutes of prep time, then another 25 minutes on the stove. The spice combination is perfect – not too spicy but still has a nice kick to it. This recipe is one such dish that is as simple as it gets, and yet tastes just like butter chicken from Moti Mahal! And did I mention that there are 9 whole servings? This recipe will feed your family or friends no problemo! Serve this with some steamed rice or naan bread to complete the meal. I hope you enjoy this easy recipe as much as we do!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
- 1 piece Onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup Bell Peppers, diced
- 3 pieces Chicken Breast, diced
- 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
- 3 jars of Light Butter Chicken Sauce (400ml Patak’s or 395ml Sharwood’s brand)
Directions
- In a large pot over medium heat, saute onion and bell peppers
- Add in the diced chicken and stir occasionally for about 10 minutes
- Season with fish sauce
- Add the butter chicken sauce
- Simmer for 15 minutes
