Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup tomato or banana ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 Head garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tsp pepper
  • 1/4 Cup beer
  • 1/4 Cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 Cup soy sauce

Directions

  1. Slice pork into 1 to 2″ square pieces or cut a whole chicken into 4 pieces.
  2. Slit thick parts of the meat (thigh and breast).
  3. Break joints of wings to flatten but do not separate the bones.
  4. Combine all the ingredients and set aside a few mixture for grilling and the rest for marinate.
  5. Marinate for at least 1/2 day or overnight.
  6. Brush pork or chicken with the mixture while grilling.
  7. Serve with papaya atsara and fried rice.
