Buko Pandan is a popular Filipino dessert that boasts the refreshing smell and semi-crunchy taste of young coconut meat along with the soft pandan flavored gelatin and the creamy sweet taste of condensed milk and thick cream. This incredible yet easy recipe takes only a little of your time and effort to be able to create something that’s so enjoyable and rewarding. Ingredients

  • 1 pack Pandan flavored gelatin powder (prepared according to instruction in the box), chopped or cut into small cubes of gelatin
  • 2 buko (young coconut), grated using coconut grater
  • 1 pack 300 grams Nestle Thick Cream
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk

Directions

  1. Combine prepared gelatin and grated buko in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Whisk together Nestle Thick Cream and condensed milk. Toss prepared gelatin and buko with the cream and milk mixture.
  3. When fully combined keep on a covered container in the chiller until ready to serve.

Variations

  • Add some cheese if preferred
  • Add buko pandan on top of vanilla ice cream
