Ingredients

  • 1 (7-8 pounds) fully-cooked bone-in ham
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, pineapple juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Heat over medium heat until the mixture comes to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Place the ham in a large roasting pan, and brush the glaze over the ham, making sure to coat it evenly.
  4. Tent the ham with aluminum foil, and bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F. Baste the ham with the glaze every 30 minutes or so.
  5. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize and brown.
  6. Once the ham is fully cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
